UPlanIt is an internet application. The program sits on a web server administered
by UPlanIt, and you don't need any particular database software on your own computer.
You can use UPlanIt from any computer, anywhere, as long as you can access the Internet.
You log in using the username and password provided for you. Only you can see information
about your school, but if you wish to share the information with a service provider,
you can do so by allowing them to log in and edit data on your behalf.
Because UPlanIt links to a database, it is recommended that you are using a broadband
internet connection.
UPlanIt has been optimised for Internet Explorer 5.0+ and Firefox. Other browsers may
not necessarily display page elements in a predictable format.
UPlanIt has been built with Microsoft ASP.Net technology and uses SQL Server as
its database. We take responsibility for backing up your data.
To print reports in a printer-friendly format, you will require Adobe Acrobat Reader,
a free program available from the
Adobe
website.
